Dear Oh! Loops Group Member,
I want to take a moment and let you know about a big change that has happened with Oh! Loops.
I am excited to announce that Sarah has decided to open her own yarn line and I couldn’t be happier for her or more excited to see what she accomplishes. Earlier this summer Sarah and I sat back and took a realistic look at our schedules and realized that we could no longer continue to run Oh! Loops like we had for the past four years. After much consideration Sarah and I decided it was best if she ventured out and began dyeing on her own. This means Sarah is no longer a part of Oh! Loops; but, be on the lookout for more information on her new company coming soon!
I know that there are a few rumors floating around and I wanted to reassure everyone that this was a decision that we made together. Sarah didn’t leave due to an argument between the two of us and this wasn’t a change made in anger. It was simply a change due to circumstance.
That being said I will still continue to provide the same high quality products you have grown to love and have made changes to improve Oh! Loops customer service to better serve you. This internal change will in no way effect the Oh! Loops company policy and manner of conducting business that Oh! Loops has built its reputation on.
I will continue to put up regular updates and host the same Oh! Loops KAL’s that you all look forward to. In addition I will continue to podcast my personal knitting and all Oh! Loops news.
Here in the Oh! Loops group we have always prided ourselves on being a group that is welcoming, accepting and not gossipy. I would ask that these same courtesies apply to this situation out of respect for Sarah and myself. I know many of you may have questions and if you do, please feel free to PM either myself or Sarah on the matter.
Lastly I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the courtesies you have already shown Oh! Loops in the past, and hope that you will let me continue to serve you.
Due to a potential Canada Post workers lockout beginning on Friday, July 8 all shipments to Canada will be delayed. The US Postal Service stated most shipments to Canada will cease as of July 8th. The only international shipments that will continue to be sent by the US Postal Service will be Global Express Guaranteed, which is delivered by Fedex in Canada. The US Postal Service stated they can not determine, at this time, if shipments stopped in customs will remain in customs until the lockout is over or if they will be returned to sender. Canada Post says if the mail has cleared the US boarder before the lockout takes effect on Friday, July 8, the mail will stay in its warehouses or distribution centers until the stoppage is over. Once mail service is resumed, items will be delivered as quickly as possible.
To prevent any orders from being lost Oh!loops will not be shipping any orders to Canada until the Canada Post workers lockout is resolved.
If you have already purchased an item from Oh!loops prior to the lockout beginning on July 8 you will be contacted by the Oh!loops Customer Service Team via email with options for how to proceed with your order.
We appreciate your patience during this unexpected shipping interruption. Oh!loops goal is always to provide the best customer service experience possible and, even though this situation is out of our control, we want to apologize to our costumers for any inconvenience they experience.
